Graham and Blue have been living in one of their handmade steam bent oak yurts since 2006 and renting them for holidays since 2008. These hi-spec bespoke yurts can be found around the UK including The Isles of Scilly and even France.

For a price guide, a 16 foot steam bent oak yurt is £5,200 (No VAT to pay) This includes the frame; a solid oak lockable door; all the canvases, a heat proof transparent star hat; all tension ropes and fixings; delivery and a quick ‘set up’ lesson while we put the yurt up for you on your site for the first time.

The Yurts feature large central wheels, made from 2 pieces of oak scarf jointed and pegged together. Curved spokes are morticed into wheel to hold shape and and for rain run off from perspex cover.

 

All doors and frames are in seasoned oak finished with tung oil. Standard doors are ledged and braced with traditional black ironmongery. As the yurts are made individually to order this can be changed to your requirements such as double, stable or curved.
