Each yurt is carefully located at the edge of its own secluded glade taking advantage of the sunny aspect, the valley views and the beauty of the ancient woodlands and flower rich hay meadows.
Relax with a glass or two on your balcony or go exploring on foot from your door perhaps down to the river where you might see Kingfishers and Otters or maybe to the local pub where you’ll definitely find some fine food and local ales.
Inside, sheepskins and woollen rugs adorn the floor while double beds are made with crisp sheets on feather bedding. Plenty of logs are supplied for your wood-burning stove to keep you toasty on starry nights and everything else you might need for a comfortable stay is provided from fluffy towels and fresh-cut flowers to bottle openers and BBQ tools.
Enjoy total privacy with your own terrace, canopy kitchen, fire-pit and compost toilet. For a truly romantic retreat try Sapperton Yurt that has its own double ended roll-top bath with views into the tree canopy.
We’ll welcome you with “afternoon tea” in a traditional farmhouse kitchen in “The old Barn”. Here you will also find hot showers, laundry facilities, a flushing loo and a patio with pizza oven. Or we can pick you up from Stroud or Kemble station. See you soon.
